When Steve goes back into the past with the Infinity Stones, time has reset itself. He is back in the 1950s, with Peggy waiting for him all along.

Peggy is overjoyed to have Steve back but secretly wonders if this is all a dream. She is taken by surprise when Steve plans a romantic surprise, formally asking her out on a date.

Peggy gets ready for her first official date with Steve and gets lost in a beautiful daydream of their future together.

Steve decides to plan the perfect date for Peggy- starting with a walk down the waterfront in DC at sunset, buying her favourite flowers from the local market, and dinner at a jazz bar, ending in a dance. Peggy gets intensely emotional during the dance, because this is the song she held in heart when she thought he was gone.

Steve and Peggy take a long walk back home, and they see a shooting star. Both make their respective wishes to themselves and don't want to reveal them to each other for fear of it not coming true.

At home, Steve peacefully falls asleep next to Peggy, knowing that his choice to come back to the past was worth it. But in the middle of the night, Steve starts to get a panic attack in his sleep. The PTSD from all of the traumatic events with the Avengers, the Blip, and Tony's death come rushing to him. Steve starts mumbling about events that Peggy has no idea of, and she tries to calm him down. Peggy is stunned to hear Steve mention the Starks.
