Scene Cover

Hermione Granger, played by Elizabeth Bennet, but Harley calls her Hermione, Hermi, or Pudding, is a rookie private detective. She has teamed up with Harley Quinn to form H&H Dective Agency. They've completed three cases together. As they investigate, their styles can clash but they get results. Along the way, Hermione is drawn to Harley's carefree and playful nature. Flirtation has given way to expressions of true affection and they had their first informal date, a movie night. The next morning Hermione arrives and announces they have a new case and is surprised that their tiny office filled with flowers! Harley explains that after her bug in the popcorn joke that didn't land during their movie night she wanted to make it up to her, so she asked Pamela for flowers. Hermione asks how many did she get. Harley says all of them. Hermione is overwhelmed but very appreciative. They share a tender moment. Hermione then says that the case involves missing artwork at a local gallery.

Hermione and Harley Quinn investigate the missing artwork at the local gallery owned by Jervis Tetch. Hermione reviewed the security footage but the part of the footage was missing. Harley interviewed the staff but nobody saw anything suspicious. They do learn that Jervis had recently fired two employees, the Tweed Brothers. Maybe this is a case of disgruntled employees?

Hermione and Harley arrive at the Tweed Brothers' empty rundown apartment. Harley is disappointed the door is unlocked. She asks if Hermione if she can lock the door so that Harley can try picking it. Hermione says they need to hurry. Seeing the state of the apartment, Hermione suspects they might have a financial motive. They quickly find one of the missing pieces of art behind the couch. Hermione thinks the case is closed but Harley is not so sure. She thinks this was too easy.

Back at the office Hermione tries to convince Harley that the case is resolved. She explains occam's razor and that they don't need to overcomplicate it. Clearly the Tweed Brothers needed money and naturally resorted to crime. Harley challenges Hermione saying she's making assumptions and her fancy schooling and posh upbringing may have given her bias. She needs to be more open minded. Hermione says Harley is just upset that she didn't get to create any chaos. Harley says this isn't about her.

Scene Cover

Hermione says without any further evidence she is going to go to Jervis Tetch and explain what happened. Harley says she's not done yet and wont be joining her. They say goodbye. Harley talks to herself trying to figure out what to do next. She thinks it was all too easy and they were pointed away from the gallery too quickly. Maybe it's time to go undercover.

Scene Cover

Hermione is leaving the gallery after meeting with Jervis Tetch when she spots a familiar person loading catering into the gallery. It's Harley! She approaches Harley and asks what she's doing. She's going to get them in trouble with their client, Jervis Tetch. Harley insists there is more to this story, they were pointed to the Tweed Brothers so quickly, she thinks they're scapegoats, so she's going undercover to see what she can learn. Hermione is worried but agrees that Harley can do a quick snoop but only if she's very careful and she wears an ear peice so they can stay in contact.

Scene Cover

Hermione monitors Harley from a safe distance as Harley serves appetizers to the gallery patrons, while also snooping around and gathering information, and they communicate through the earpiece. Harley decides to use her Australian accent again but using Australian expression. Hermione asks why she's using that accent again. Harley say it's all part of the disguise. Hermione hears Harley trying to serve guests in her ridiculous accent.

Scene Cover

Hermione continues to monitor Harley as she mingles with the guests, trying to gather more information, but Harley's Australian accent and antics are causing more of a scene than intended, and Hermione is getting worried that Harley will blow her cover. Harley says she's got a lead. She saw Tetch disappear into what they were told was a broom closet. But why would he be gone so long inside a broom closet? Hermione tells her to be careful and try to get more information without drawing attention to herself.

Scene Cover

Harley tells Hermione that Tetch has excited the broom closet so she's going to try and see what's going on. Hermione says she's going to join the party to keep an eye on Tetch to make sure Harley isn't caught. Harley says it's a broom closet, but that doesn't make any sense. Harley says she's going to start pulling things. Hermione says she can hear the commotion so says she's going to spill her drink to make a diversion. Harley finds the secret passage and she whispers to Hermione through the earpiece, describing what she's seeing. Inside the missing art peices, and the Tweed Brothers staring at her. Harley says eep, she thinks she's been caught.

10.
Scene Cover

Hermione overhears Harley trying to talk her way out of the situation, telling the Tweed Brothers that she's just a new employee looking for the bathroom. There's a long pause. Then Harley tells Hermione that the Tweed Brothers are super nice. That Tetch told them they were in trouble and they needed to hide in this secret room until it was safe.

11.
Scene Cover

Harley asks for another diversion so she can sneak out of the broom closet. Hermione says she's already spilled one drink what else can she do. Harley says to embrace the chaos. Bump into someone. Throw a pie. Start a fight. Start some impromptu acapella karaoke. Hermione get's everyone's attention to say that she wants to show her appreciation for their business by singing a song. Then proceeds to sing a beautiful song while Harley escapes.

12.
Scene Cover

Harley meets up with Hermione outside the gallery, and they both burst out laughing at the absurdity of the situation, Harley praising Hermione's beautiful singing voice and Hermione teasing Harley about her lack of subtlety and bad accent. Hermione apologizes and says Harley was right, that there was more to the story and she shouldn't have doubted her. Harley says Hermione was too eager to close the case instead of finding the truth. Hermione asks if a kiss would make it up to her. Hermione says how nice the kiss was. Harley says if this is what happens when Hermione is wrong, she hopes shes wrong more often. Hermione says hey, and asks if they can kiss again.

Scene Cover

Hermione and Harley go back to their office, still affectionate and playful, and start discussing the case, with Harley telling Hermione about the Tweed Brothers' story and how she thinks Tetch was using them to cover up his own scheme, and Hermione impressed by Harley's detective work.

14.
Scene Cover

Hermione tells Harley she spoke to Tetch to see if he wants them to continue searching for the art work. She tells Harley that Tetch told her not to bother, the art is probably long gone by now and thankfully it was insured. Hermione believes this was all about insurance fraud. Hermione and Harley debate how to proceed. If reveal their client was behind this, they wont get paid. But he used them to cover up crime, and he's holding the Tweed Brothers and ruining their reputation as well. Better to seek out the truth and deal with the consequences.

15.
Scene Cover

Hermione and Harley come up with a plan to expose Tetch's insurance fraud scheme, deciding to break into his office to gather evidence, with Harley excitedly declaring it's time to "get their sneak on" and Hermione cautioning her to be careful and professional.

16.
Scene Cover

Hermione and Harley sneak into Tetch's office at night, with Hermione using her knowledge of the security cameras and alarms, and Harley using her knowledge of the office layout to lead them to the secret room in the closet. Harley and Hermione say to the Tweed Brothers they're being framed and they need to take some photos of the stolen art to clear their names.

Hermione and Harley successfully take photos of the stolen art and gather evidence, and as they're about to leave, Harley can't resist leaving a mocking note for Tetch, while Hermione rolls her eyes and tells her to focus on getting out of there undetected. Harley reads Hermione the note that says they know about the insurance fraud and that if Tetch doesn't come clean and clear the Tweed Brothers names that they will spill the beans. Signed Bud and Lou. Hermione asks why leave the note and who are Bud and Lou. Harley says it's better to push someone to do the right thing, and Bud and Lou are their aliases. Cute names right?

18.
Scene Cover

Hermione and Harley return to their office, exhausted but triumphant, and Harley starts to write up their report, while Hermione starts to make some tea, and they both can't help but feel a sense of pride and accomplishment at having solved the case and cleared the Tweed Brothers' names. Hermione thanks Harley for being persistent and challenging her bias. She says without Harley, she would have let the Tweed Brothers take the fall. She's sorry she didn't listen and trust Harley. Hermione says Harley is becoming a great detective. Harley says she's learned from the best, "The Great Detective Puddin". They make a great team, and she couldn't have done it without her Hermi. Good partners challenge eachother, and shaking things up is what she does best. They share a tender moment. Hermione asks which of them is Bud and which one is Lou. Harley says she'll tell her after a kiss. Hermione says you're incorrigible. Harley says you're adorable, now come here.
