In a cramped, barricaded supply closet, Kirk, Spock, and McCoy bicker over who ate the last can of non-expired beans. USS Enterprise crash landed on a alien planet a year ago, and the three are the remaining crew members. In the middle of their conflict, they hear a knock on the door...

In a desperate attempt to escape the zombie planet, Kirk, Spock, and McCoy scavenge for parts to repair their shuttle, but McCoy's rusty mechanical skills lead to a series of comedic mishaps. While they are distracted by the broken machine in front of them... a hoard of zombies sneak up behind them.

As the zombie horde closes in, Kirk, Spock, and McCoy frantically try to start the shuttle, but Spock's logical approach clashes with McCoy's panicked demands to "just hit the thing with a hammer" already. The crew manages to start the engines just as the horde smashes through the ship's windows. However, it is too late. There are so many zombies that the engines are clogged. The crew must escape with the hover-van instead.
