Scene Cover

Hermione Granger, played by Elizabeth Bennet, but Harley calls her Hermione, Hermi, or Pudding, is a private detective. She has teamed up with Harley Quinn to form H&H Dective Agency. They've completed four cases together. As they investigate, their styles can clash but they get results. Along the way, Hermione is drawn to Harley's carefree and playful nature. Flirtation has given way to expressions of true affection as they shared their first kiss on the previous case. Hermione arrives and announces they have a new case and is surprised that their tiny office door has a new cartoon hyena emblazoned on it. Hermione asks Harley what's up with Hyena? Harley explains that she thought they needed a mascot, and what better than a Hyena. They're intelligent, excellent problem solvers, often work in pairs, female-led, better hunters than lions, and often underestimated and misunderstood. Plus they're cute. Hermione says they will discuss later, they have a new case, there has been a heist!

Scene Cover

Hermione and Harley Quinn arrive at the museum to investigate the heist. They review their notes from the meeting with the curator, who seemed most concerned about keeping the investigation hidden from the public, which is why he didn't want to involve the police. They begin by looking for clues at the museum and try to learn more about the stolen gemstone.

3.
Scene Cover

Hermione and Harley's search of the small museum did not turn up anything unusual and Harley has grown restless looking at artifacts. 4.
Scene Cover

Hermione and Harley enjoy their ice cream at a sidewalk cafe. Hermione admires Harley's enthusiasm for her ice cream and for life in general. As Harley savours her ice cream, Hermione expresses her frustration at not having any leads for the case. Harley asks what is so special about this particular stone anyway? Hermione says they don't know much beyond what the museum has about it, that its several hundred years old and from the middle east. Not much to go on. Hermione suggests they do a reverse image search to find something similiar. Hermione finds another stone that looks suspiciously similiar under another name. Maybe they're connected?

5.
Scene Cover

Hermione learns through her research that the similiar stone is from north africa, but not much more. Hermione suggests they pay a visit to the local university to see if they can speak to someone with antiquities experience. Harley complains about how boring this case is with museums and universities and rocks.

6.
Scene Cover

Hermione and Harley discuss their meeting with Talia al Ghul, a professor of antiquities at the university, who shared her knowledge of the stones. They are part of an important cultural artifact dedicated to immortality. The museum clearly did not know or care what it was, just that it was shiny. Talia made a comment about how the museum probably doesn't even have legal or moral rights to most of its holdings, just another pillage of culture to show off. Harley detected a lot of animosity towards the museum.

7.
Scene Cover

Hermione and Harley decide to investigate the museum's acquisition process, looking for any irregularities or clues that might lead them to the thief and the true motives behind the heist.

8.
Scene Cover

Hermione and Harley discuss their interview the museum's curator, who seems nervous and evasive about the acquisition process, leading them to suspect that he may be hiding something. He said the records for the acquisition of the stone were lost, which Harley found hard to believe because isn't a museum best known for holding onto old stuff? Hermione reminds them they need to tread carefully because they were hired by the museum after all, but something seems fishy.

9.
Scene Cover

Harley asks Hermione why someone would steal this particular stone, it's clearly not the most valuable item in the museum. Why go through the trouble. Hermione appreciates bringing up motive. Clearly this particular stone meant something to someone. Harley says if she was going to steal from the museum it would be the T-Rex skull, which would make an awesome coffee table for their office. Maybe they should pay professor Talia another vist?

10.
Scene Cover

Hermione and Harley go to visit Professor Talia, but she isn't there and it looks like the office was torn apart by someone looking for something. Harley is frustrated that someone else got to smash the office. Hermione wonders if their earlier visit put a target on Professor Talia.

11.
Scene Cover

Hermione and Harley brainstorm on where an antiquities professor would hide. Hermione says probably not home, that would not be safe. Harley says it's probably in pile of dusty old books. Hermione say's a great idea, they should check the school library, the professor would probably feel safe there.

Harley reminds her that she fought a monster and won pretty recently, she's got this.

Scene Cover

Harley, borrowing Talia's jacket and glasses to disguise herself, walks through the university hallways, while Hermione keeps a safe distance communicating with her over their bluetooth earpiece. 17.
Scene Cover

Harley reveals she was able to slip her earpiece onto one of the captors during the escape. Harley and Hermione tail their former captors, following them to the museum! Harley impatiently waits for Hermione to tell her what they're saying. Hermione says that it sounds like the captors worked for the museum curator. They suspected Talia stole back the stone but they bought it on the market so it's rightfully theirs.

18.
Scene Cover

Hermione and Harley put the clues together. It sounds like the Museum acquired this stone through questionable means, probably from the black market. Maybe it's time to confront Talia?

19.

Hermione and Harley discuss their confrontation with Professor Talia, who revealed that she was aware of the theft of the stone. She supports a group that tries to secure the return of culturally significant artificats to their rightful homes. If they are unable to secure it through political or financial pressure, then some of their members may take matters into their own hands. It wasn't for personal gain. Harley and Hermione discuss whether they should turn Talia in to the museum. Harley realizes this is the second time they've been hired by the bad guys.
