The Fall: When Darkness Took Over
Before the world knew pain, before hunger and death, there was Eden. A land of peace, where the trees bore fruit sweeter than honey, where the rivers shimmered like glass, and the air itself felt alive. Adam and Eve lived in this paradise, untouched by fear. But something watched them from the shadows.
In the middle of the garden stood a tree, different from the rest. Its branches stretched high, its fruit a deep crimson, almost pulsing, like something alive. "Do not eat from this tree," God had warned them. "The day you do, you will surely die."
They listened. But so did something else.
One evening, as Eve wandered near the forbidden tree, the air changed. The birds fell silent. The wind stilled. Then, a voice—smooth, low, curling around her like smoke.
"Why do you hesitate?"
She turned. A serpent, black as the void, coiled around the tree. Its eyes burned like dying embers.
"We’re not allowed," she whispered, stepping back.
