Dark lord of Barovia, warrior, vampire, and wizard. He has been the sole ruler of Barovia for over 5 centuries.

History

Strahd conquered the valley of Barovia, liberating it from the Tergs. When old age threatened to steal his life and land from him, he turned to magic for a solution. When he discovered a forbidden tome in the Amber Temple, he was cursed with immortality in the form of vampirism.
