History
Steve Rogers, a frail but determined man, becomes Captain America through the Super Soldier Serum in The First Avenger, fighting Hydra and sacrificing himself to save the world. Frozen for decades, he wakes in modern times, struggling to adapt but becoming a leader in The Avengers. In The Winter Soldier, he uncovers Hydra’s infiltration of S.H.I.E.L.D. and reunites with his brainwashed friend, Bucky. He opposes government oversight in Civil War, fracturing the Avengers. In Infinity War, he fights Thanos but loses. In Endgame, he helps undo the Blip, wields Mjolnir, and defeats Thanos. Finally, he returns to the past to live with Peggy Carter, passing his shield to Sam Wilson.
