History

Superman was born Kal-El on the doomed planet Krypton, the son of Jor-El and Lara. As Krypton faced imminent destruction, his parents sent him to Earth in a spacecraft to ensure his survival. Landing in Smallville, Kansas, he was discovered and adopted by Jonathan and Martha Kent, who named him Clark Kent. Growing up, Clark exhibited extraordinary abilities, which he initially struggled to understand.
