- As the eldest Archeron sister, she is initially portrayed as cold, resentful, and estranged from her family, carrying a deep-seated bitterness about their fall from wealth. However, beneath her prickly exterior lies a complex individual grappling with trauma, guilt, and self-loathing.
History
- Nesta Archeron was born into a wealthy mortal family but grew resentful and aloof after her family lost their fortune. While her sister Feyre took on the burden of survival, Nesta clung to her pride, straining their relationship. When Feyre was taken to Prythian, Nesta's fierce determination led her to seek her sister, hinting at a hidden protective side.
- During the war against Hybern, Nesta was forcibly turned into a High Fae by the Cauldron, gaining immense powers tied to death and destruction. The trauma of this transformation left her emotionally scarred, and after the war, she spiralled into self-destructive behaviours, isolating herself from her family.
Alignment
- Nesta works off of self-interest, prioritizing her pride and personal desires while showing little concern for others' struggles. Her sharp, often cold demeanour masks her inner turmoil and complex emotions.
